Sandburn Hall - a fresh approach to golf.

Our philosophy at Sandburn is to be open and welcoming to all golfers, whether you are just starting out in the game or have been playing for many years.

Sandburn Hall is a Golf Club that welcomes every golfer and encourages Junior and family group members to join in the social and fun side of golf.

Our new coaching facility the 'Steve Robinson Academy' caters for golfers of all abilities. Steve has an excellent reputation for teaching all levels from the novice golfer right through to international player.

Ideally situated just off the A64, Sandburn is the perfect hassle free location for visiting golfers travelling to and from east coast golf destinations.

The Course

The Par 72, 6700 yard course set in beautiful Vale of York countryside is designed to challenge golfers of all abilities. Each of the 18 holes has unique challenges with woodlands, streams and lakes providing their own hazards.

The golf course was completed in 2004 and opened in 2005 and has already been recognised as one of the best courses in the area and hosts major amateur and professional county events. It is maintained to the highest standards by our dedicated greenkeeping staff and has had many additional features added since opening.

Recent drainage work has resulted in a significantly improved year round golf experience, with very few days being lost due to wet weather conditions.

Since 2004 the 30 hectares of new tree plantations and large lakes have become a haven for many forms of wildlife which can be seen as you play your round.
