Membership is a great way to improve your game, whilst meeting new people, participating in competitions and attending members social events! We offer a variety of membership options, so whether you’re an avid golfer or a complete novice, you’ll find a membership to suit! There are no committee interviews – we simply believe in equal rights for all.

Gabby made the day run so smoothly and was so thoughtful. Her hand over into the evening was also amazing and the evening team were so great with making sure everything went to plan. Beautiful hotel in a great location. Lovely walks on site and lots to do within the local area. Short drive to York, and on main road to coast.
The hotel is in a great location for a family break, the kids loved exploring the woods on site, and it’s just a short drive to Castle Howard (great adventure playground) and York Centre.

We had two fantastic stays in the space of a week at Sandburn. The hotel is a very high spec, offering very spacious rooms and bathrooms alike. The grounds are ample to be able to go for short walks and enjoy the scenery and peace of the Yorkshire countryside.

The surroundings are so beautiful and tranquil and the rooms are lovely,with big spacious beds and comfy quilts and pillows.
The views from the patio windows are amazing lots of wildlife to see, ponds and just lots of open space, bliss.

Had a lovely meal at their Tykes restaurant last night, the service was excellent – very prompt, the food was really lovely and the black sheep beer I had was obviously well kept. I would thoroughly recommend eating here.
