Suzanne Gill graduated with a distinction in HNC Millinery from Leeds College of Arts in 2010.
Winner of the best hat at Cheltenham festival in 2011, Suzanne went on to feature in the LBB of festival fashion in conjunction with Cheltenham Racecourse, Moloh and Eclipse Racing Magazine. In July 2012 Suzanne headed back to the catwalk, this time invited by the Royal Horticultural Society to feature her collection at RHS Tatton Park Flower Show.
In September 2012 Suzanne won an International Hat Award for creativity. Suzanne regularly worked with LK Bennett and local independent designers. Her work was featured numerous times in regional and national publications. She quickly established a local and international client base.
After running a successful millinery business for a number of years, Suzanne relocated overseas in January 2013.
During this time, Suzanne taught millinery skills to expat and local ladies. Suzanne also had the honour to be asked to design and make costumes for numerous productions at The International School of Azerbaijan. The production of A Midsummer Night’s Dream toured Austria and Germany.
Drawing inspiration from her local environment and her passion for vintage French fashion, Suzanne quickly gained a reputation for designing and making headwear meticulously crafted and synonymous with modern elegance.
