General

Do you have parking on-site?
We have ample free parking on-site.

Do you have EV chargers?
There are two EV charging points via the Pod Point app.

Can I bring my dog?
Dogs are welcome at Sandburn Hall. We have a number of dog-friendly Lake Rooms, each with their own private terrace leading straight into our grounds.  We will also provide a cosy bed, snuggly blanket and some delicious doggy treats to pamper your pooch.  You can view our dog policy here.
We have some dog friendly tables available in Tykes Restaurant. Please pre-book to ensure that the Tykes team know you will be bringing your dog.

Do you have spa facilities/swimming pool/gym?
We don’t have spa facilities, a swimming pool or a gym on site.

Hotel

What time is check in?
Check-in is from 3.00pm.  please contact reception in advance should you wish to arrange an early check-in.  An early check-in from 1pm can be arranged in advance for a fee of £40.  Please note that this is dependent on availability and at the discretion of the hotel.  (Max 6 available).
If you are attending an event, you can check-in and leave your luggage in reception prior to 3pm.  We will then transfer luggage to your room once it becomes available.

What time is check out?
Check-out time is 11am.  Please contact reception if you would like to arrange a late check-out.  The late check out charge is £40.  Please note that this is dependent on availability and at the discretion of the hotel.  (Max 6 available).

Can you recommend a local taxi firm and public transport options?
Please contact reception stay@sandburnhall.co.uk and they will send a list of recommended options over to you.

What is there to do on-site and what local attractions are nearby?
Please visit our ‘Out & About’ page for details of local attractions and things to do on-site and in the area.

Where is breakfast served?
Breakfast is served in our on-site restaurant, Tykes, which is just a short outdoor walk from reception.

Do you have accessible rooms?

Do you have family/interconnecting rooms?
We have six family rooms, some of which sleep two adults and one child, and some that sleep two adults and two children.  Please contact our reception team on 01904 469922 or email stay@sandburnhall.co.uk to book so that we can allocate you the most suitable room.

How do I redeem my gift voucher against my stay?
Please contact our reception team on 01904 469922 or email stay@sandburnhall.co.uk to book your room, and provide your voucher number.

Do you offer NHS or Blue Light Card discount?
We offer a 15% discount for NHS and Blue Light Card holders.  Please contact our reception team to book on 01904 469922 or email stay@sandburnhall.co.uk and bring your card to show on check-in so that the rate can be validated.

How do I cancel a booking?
If you booked your room online, you can follow the steps in your confirmation email to cancel your booking.  If you booked over the phone or email, please email us to cancel.  If you booked through a third party you must contact them to cancel the booking.

Do you offer room service?
We offer a Continental room service breakfast and a limited room service menu. Please contact reception stay@sandburnhall.co.uk for further details.

Golf

Do you have a waiting list for membership?
Yes there is currently a waiting list for membership.  Please contact nathalie@sandburnhall.co.uk for further information.

Do you have a Driving Range?
Yes we have an 8 bay covered driving range which forms part of the Steve Robinson Golf Academy.  The driving range is open to the public.

Do you accept visitors?
Yes all visitors are warmly welcomed to play golf at Sandburn Hall.  View more information and book here.

Do you offer a golf and hotel package?
Our great value Stay & Play package is available 7 days a week and we also offer a fantastic Sunday Driver package.

Tykes

What time is Tykes open?
Tykes is open Monday to Saturday 11.30-9.30pm, Sunday 11.30-8.30pm.
Breakfast served 7.00-10.15am  (non-residents are required to pre-book)
Lunch Menu served 11.30 – 4.30pm
A la Carte Menu served 5.00 – 9.30pm
Afternoon Tea served Monday to Saturday 12-3.00pm  (Pre-booking essential, min 24hrs notice)
Sunday Menu served 12.00 -7.45pm

Do I need to pre-book a table?
Pre-booking is recommended particularly at peak times such as weekends, and Steak Wednesdays, however pre-booking is not essential.

Do you cater for groups?
Absolutely! Please contact Tykes on 01904 469911 or email tykes@sandburnhall.co.uk to book your table and for further information.

Is breakfast available for non-residents?
Yes – breakfast is open to non-residents subject to availability.  The price is £17.50pp to include a full English and continental breakfast buffet.  Please book in advance on 01904 469911 or email tykes@sandburnhall.co.uk.

Weddings & Events

Do you allow external caterers/own catering?
All catering is done in-house by our team of chefs.  We do not allow outside caterers.

Do you offer exclusive use?
We only host one wedding per day at Sandburn Hall, and the Grand Hall, Settle Bar and Wedding Garden are exclusively for the wedding party on their special day.  The golf course, Tykes restaurant and hotel are open to the public.

Is there a lift to the Grand Hall?
Yes there is a lift to the Grand Hall.  There is no direct lift to the Sanderson Room although access may be possible via the Grand Hall depending on availability.  For more details please view our Accessibility Page.
